Five dead in murder-suicide in Three Hill, St. Mary

Four members of one family are dead and another is in critical condition after a policeman went berserk in St. Mary early Thursday morning.  The policeman has been identified as Corporal Wayne Llewellyn, who was attached to the Accident Reconstruction Unit in Area 3.

Those he is alleged to have killed are his 16-year-old stepdaughter Jorgihan Flynn, his mother-in-law Rachel Brown, father-in-law, Valda Brown and brother-in-law John Townsend. Tears flowed freely as stunned residents gathered at the chilling scene on Goshen Street in Three Hill, St. Mary, where the elderly couple, their son and granddaughter lay dead.

It was reported that Corporal Llewellyn had been recently transferred from St. Mary to Manchester and his wife and stepdaughter went with him.
However, his wife and stepdaughter returned to St. Mary after the relationship reportedly soured.

It was reported that the cop entered the family house through a back door on Thursday morning, armed with his gun. He first shot dead his parents-in-law in their room. His brother-in-law ran on seeing him but was also shot dead. Corporal Llewellyn then entered Jorgihan’s room and shot her, before shooting his wife in her room.

The enraged cop reportedly went a short distance where another set of family members live, and demanded to be let in. However, those residents barricaded themselves in their house. The policeman then shot himself. At newstime, the cop’s widow, who is listed in critical condition, was being airlifted to another hospital for further treatment.
